This Sauvignon Blanc was harvested from the OSU SOREC (Southern Oregon Research & Extension Center) vineyard in the Rogue Valley, where warm days and cool nights pushed ripeness without sacrificing acidity. Whole-cluster pressed and fermented with native yeast in neutral French oak barrels - no temperature control, and no corrections - just clean, beautiful fruit and a careful eye on ferment.
The wine opens with aromatics of white peach, pineapple core, and mango skin, cut by fresh lime and a touch of salinity. On the palate, it’s dry and structured, with broad texture from barrel fermentation and a mineral finish that pulls everything together.
This was a quiet standout from the vintage - equal parts precise and generous, with just enough edge to keep it interesting.
